We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the day‑to‑day purchasing, supply assurance, and supplier coordination needs of the Procurement team. The Procurement Specialist supports the execution of purchasing activities, assisting with high‑volume transactional work across raw materials and Third‑Party Manufacturers (TPMs). The Procurement Specialist maintains supply continuity, ensures accurate purchasing documentation, and provides essential support to supplier relationships and internal partners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchasing Support & Transactional Execution
- Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) for raw materials and Third‑Party Manufacturers (TPMs), ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation on pricing, lead times, and supplier details within the ERP system in partnership with Category Managers.
- Track PO order status, delivery confirmations, and resolve basic PO discrepancies.
- Assist in monitoring raw material and finished goods component inventory levels to help prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Help track TPM shipments to the 3PL network and maintain accurate records for inbound product flow.
- Gather data for supply‑related reporting, including weekly operational updates and supplier performance tracking.
- Own coordination with assigned suppliers and TPMs on delivery schedules, order updates, and documentation needs.
- Assist with preparing information for supplier business reviews, including pricing updates and KPI tracking.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure adherence to agreed‑upon terms.
- Escalate supplier issues to senior team members as needed.
- Gather information for Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and support Procurement’s partnership with Quality Assurance.
- Maintain accurate procurement master data within the ERP system to ensure strong planning and reporting integrity.
- Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Quality, and Finance by providing timely procurement data and status updates.
- Assist in preparing materials for internal touchpoints and cross‑functional meetings.
- 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, or relevant internships.
- Proficiency in Excel and general data tracking tools.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes, purchasing, or inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in ERP systems or eager to learn procurement modules.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong follow‑through and ability to stay organized with multiple moving parts.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Duke Cannon offers a competitive market salary and bonus based on role and professional experience. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. Our benefits are top-notch and include health & dental insurance, HSA and 401k programs supported by regular company contributions, a tuition reimbursement program, and monthly parking stipend.
